A lovely winner yesterday for the Fergal O’Brien yard. As to today, keep an eye on Constitution Hill at Newcastle in the Fighting Fifth, we have a few fancies today on a busy day of National Hunt
12:15 – Carole’s Pass for Amy Murphy with Jack Quinlan aboard, looked very promising at the track when successful on return in early November, up in class but not impacted at the weight, the 7/1 available is a huge price.

13:20 – Kapcorse seems another big price for Nicholls, a horse who likes the course, was shown to be fine over surface earlier in the year. Plenty of pointers and positive stats with the horse having a 66% strike rate over course and distance. The weight is the heaviest he has been but the price factors that in.

13:47 – El Borracho down in class, well favoured in the weight despite this and very much over his preferred trip, unlucky at Cheltenham last time out but having performed much better in class 3 company.

14:30 – Theatre Glory for Henderson, looks spot on for this race, if ready to go today, the April meeting at Cheltenham earlier this year set some standard, the apprentice takes 7lb off today and as we know Nicky is a master over course and distance (around 30% strike rate).

14:57 – Stoner’s Choice, is again over-priced, this front-running type for Fergal O’Brien is seemingly trending upwards and the yard is in good form, with their horses coming on for a run and a slight pipe-opener, the run at Carlisle a month back, was that run, with today likely to be much more competitive.
