Doncaster

14:25 – Modern Dancer should have too much for these, carrying nigh on a stone less than when last seen, Buick and Appleby should get the job done. Albeit at 6/4 it is not a bet.

15:35 – Adaay in Asia, a horse we have followed successfully most of the season, up in class today and therefore not penalised with an increase in weights, the run at York did not show any signs that the five-timer today is an impossibility.

The horse has the ground, the jockey and all the ability to strike, again, today.

Adaay in Asia 11/2 1pt ew

16:10 – Union Court is good on the going, over distance and always seems to get in the mix, speed-figures when second to Cuban Mistress and Platinum Queen were promising. Expect Saffie Osborne to tuck the horse into midfield and present in the final strides.

Union Court 17/2 1pt ew

17:20 – Mujtaba for William Haggis is our final selection on Wednesday. Haggis has a good record with horses reappearing from a long break, with a strike rate around 30% for returners in September (who have had 90+ days away). Dubawai the sire, loved it at course and distance (22% strike rate) and all is set-up today for success.

Mujtaba 7/2 1.5 pt ew
