State Occasion a welcome winner yesterday, wining in style under a brilliant Rossa Ryan ride. A quiet day otherwise but nothing disastrous and we are plenty ahead for the month. We have two days to go, let’s see what we can land.
13:50 – Wanees for Hills and Crowley will be our selection in the opener, the combination has an over 35% strike rate at the course. Wanees has hit lower than 50% in-running every time.
Migdam as favourite may not have the pace for these but could prove me wrong at around 14:00.

14:25 – Chateau looked the part at Newbury last time out and William Buick has a 30% strike rate on last-time out winners, he will battle with Royal Scotsman who heads the market, but at the prices, we prefer our selection. Andrew Balding has a 22% strike rate over the last 14 days and had a big winner with Sandrine earlier this week, his horses are running to form and beyond and we can expect a good run today.
