Another good day, 3 winners at Cheltenham:
The Bull McCabe 9/1
Captain Cattistock 17/2
Wbee 16/1 (advised at 8s and drifted)
We also had returned to us plenty of each-way monies as most of our horses at the shorter end of the market were backed into favouritism.
Another day full of profit.
Onto today.
Cheltenham
13:30 – In the opener, we have the first of 3 very heavy favourites, Theatre Glory, at the price could not be a play. Hence we will back On My Command who is not miles away on speed figures and he is 12 pounds down from his last time out on course.
On My Command 4/1 2pt ew
14:05 – Burrows Diamond gets the nod, back to competing against her own sex and truly enjoys the improving ground, seen in Uttoxeter at the turn of the year on good ground beating Precious Eleanor who returns today to take on her old foe. Fontaine Collonges for Venetia Williams sets the standard, however has preferred heavier ground when performing at her very best and may struggle today.
Burrows Diamond 10/3 2pt ew
14:40 – Panic Attack stands out like a sore thumb for David Pipe who was successful in the last yesterday with Koi Dodville, as with today, that horse was well down in the weights. Panic Attack is proven on soft and good ground and is a standout selection.
We will also back Litterale Ci who is further well weighted with Miss Aine O’Connor taking off 3lbs.
Panic Attack 5/2 3pts ew
Litterale Ci 17/2 1pt ew
15:15 – Hard to look away from Barden Bella, over a stone down from last time out when setting speed figures that should trouble all of years, the step up in trip would be a slight concern but the standard is certainly set.
A no bet race.
15:50 – Ile De Jersey 5/1 2.5pt ew
16:25 – Glancing Queen is too good. Not one for a single at the price.
17:00 – Mullenberg should be far too good for these.
