Friday 8 April 2022 – Aintree Day 2

Fantastic opening to the Aintree meeting:

Millers Bank wins advised at 8/1

Knight Salute advised at 16/1 won for us by the Stewards (?!?!?!)

Latenightpass advised 10/3 wins, Cat Tiger advised 15/2 finishes second for place money and we get the fifth as well, as Cousin Pascal advised 10/1.

Some day for the blog, which continues to add profit since returning.

Aintree

13:45 – Broomfield Burg looks very well in at the weights, never really in the County Hurdle, he will come on for that run and looks handsome enough at the price.

We will also back Peking Rose for the Fergal O’Brien yard and Gerry Clermont for the O’Neils

Broomfield Burg 12/1 1pt ew

Peking Rose 11/1 1pt ew

Gerry Clermont 22/1 0.75pt ew

14:20 – Henderson brings Jonbon to Aintree, however his second string looks the bet at the prices, First Street, second to State Man in the County Hurdle and setting speed figures on his last two runs which should if he runs to that standard make this an intriguing race.

First Street 4/1 2pt ew

14:55 – Bravemansgame returns, nixed at Cheltenham when the rain came, a battle against L’Homme Presse is riveting for us all. I would favour the Cheltenham successor, despite being very sweet on Bravemansgame all season, not a betting race but a thrilling watch all the same. Enjoy.

15:30 – Fakir Doudairies wins this, he is simply too good. No price at 5/4 however, everyone else in the field has plenty to prove and we know who they are and what they can achieve and I would be surprised if they can topple the market favourite.

16:05 – Three in the Topham:

Royal Rendezvous 10/1 1pt ew

Senior Citizen 11/1 1pt ew

Mister Coffey 7/1 1pt ew

16:40:

Staghorn 14/1 1pt ew

Skytastic 5/1 1.5pt ew

17:15 – Faivor 12/1 2pt ew

Good luck.
