Monday 22 November

Saturday was a day of oh so nearly, Riggs beaten when looking the most likely winner and Amoola Gold needing another inch and the race would have been his but we lick are wounds and remain ahead after the successes of the November meeting at HQ.

As long-time readers will know I tend to focus on Class 3 and above and will focus my efforts on the better racing (towards the weekend and the Festivals etc), however today at Ayr and Kempton Park a couple of races have potential.

Ayr

14:10 – The favourite Dreams of Home, proven on going and over the distance seems the right price and arguably could be value. NO BET.

Kempton

13:15 – An intriguing small field, however again the favourite, Rockstar Ronnie despite being at a potential disadvantage at the weights, looked very comfortable when successful at the course earlier in the month. NO BET.

13:50 – Willie Mullins books Nico De Boinville to ride My Sister Sarah, an Irish raider so early in the season and on a Monday adds a touch of excitement to the start of the week. Dragon Bones however on ratings does not look too far away and would be the fancy at the prices. NO BET

14:25 – Mercian Prince is back out successful at the track in October, he should go in again today.

15:25 – SEA THE SEA is a selection with the jockey taking off 8lbs he is at a manageable level to go in.
