Afternoon all, does anyone fancy some Chipotle? I certainly did yesterday and with the blog doing even better individual views wish than the day before, I know plenty of readers did too. In an afternoon where the draw bias seemed fatal if you were drawn low, Chipotle advised at 25/1 was given a perfect ride to score for us and keep us once again for a second day in plenty of profit.
Enjoy the ride and the win below.
So after a 66/1 winner on day 1 and a 25/1 on day 2, I will shamelessly rattle the tin again, all contributions very welcome, if you have been with me and therefore in profit so far this week, a few beers would be appreciated.

Onto Day 3.
Royal Ascot
14:30 – Project Dante stands out , his win at York was mightily impressive and if he improves for the better ground he should be well in today. We will also back the mercurial, George Boughey trained Navello who looks a big price for a yard who has been read hot with their 2 year olds.
Project Dante 15/2 2.5 point each way
Navello 22/1 1 point each way
15:05 – We will back One Ruler a selection of ours for the Derby (alongside the 40/1 winner) who showed good pace in a warm 2000 Guineas, anyone finishing fast behind the impressive Poetic Flare, whilst the favourite is to be respected, he has not to date hit speed figures as good as One Ruler.
‘The Lads’ for O’Brien have a few in this race and Matchless at 50s looks a big price, well drawn from 2 and likely to get out, we’ve seen already this week (and season) horses out have been hard to catch.
One Ruler 4/1 3 point each way
Matchless 50/1 0.75 point each way
15:40 – Noon Star sits at the top of the market and should be for Sir Michael Stoute, carrying heavier over the distance she has been successful this season and is a rare single play.
Noon Star 2/1 4 point win
16:15 – Welcome to Groundhog Day, Stradivarius turns up in the Gold Cup and wins, doesn’t he? Or will he be beaten today…
Trueshan however for Alan King and Hollie Doyle looks the biggest danger, a winner at the course over 2miles when setting fractions that could well worry the great horse if he finds his rhythm today and having carried nearly half a stone more on that day than he will do so today, his second behind Japan can be marked up and once again was impressive on the clock.
We will also back last years Derby winner (who was a selection way back then) Serpentine who finally gets an outing since then on good ground.
TRUESHAN 4/1 3 point each way
Serpentine 16/1 1 point each way
17:00 – The Britannia Stakes is another race that is a breathtaking spectacle, 33 runners over the mile, we will back the following:
Siam Fox 28/1 1 point each way
Qaader 22/1 1 point each way
Longlai 66/1 0.75 point each way
Horrorscope 16/1 1.5 point each way
17:35 – Act of Wisdom looks a huge price for Appleby and Doyle at 28s and is a good bet, he is significantly down in the weights having ran up a 3 timer last year and loses nothing form his debut outing at Newmarket this season, drawn from 5 he will need a positive ride from Doyle but will be in the mix come the finish. Too Friendly is also too big a price at 50s as is Sir William Bruce.
Act of Wisdom 28/1 1.5 point each way
Too Friendly 50/1 0.5 point each way
Sir William Bruce 33/1 1 point each way
18:10 – In the final race of the day the pin has landed on the following:
Aldaary 5/1 3 point each way
Persuasion 12/1 1.5 point each way
Dance Fever 20/1 1 point each way
