As to today, York, day 1.

13:40 – Sam Cooke looks off a handy mark, down nigh-on a stone from when last seen and has proven to handle the softer ground. His run at Ascot when second last July is of particular note and anything like that performance today should trouble these.
Taqreer might be the forgotten horse in the race, whilst second to opposing rival today, My Frankel, he is 8 pounds better off in the weights and did not lose much in defeat he is also of interest to reverse the form.

14:10 – BIELSA if he handles the ground today and whilst mainly performing on GOOD it is certainly softish today, has figures that should frighten all of these, the well backed Rouslton Scar is a consistent type at York but underperformed when last seen, losing to another selection Gulliver.
In a wide open race we will throw 3 darts, I like the profile of Gulliver kept busy throughout the winter on the all-weather and he enjoys York, Magical Spirit again for Kevin Ryan ala our first choice loves it here and should go very well.

14:40 – Duke of York, Clipper Stakes, OXTED for Ryan Moore and Roger Teal is the fancy, proven on ground and over distance and looking very good behind the now marketed up win of Summerghand at Newmarket a week or two back he should be too much for these today.
Emaraaty Anna is way to big a price at 20/1 hence is a further selection.

15:40 – WOBWOBWOB ran well on seasonal debut at Newmarket over further, he is down over half a stone when last seen and has the best comparative speed figures of these, unlike many of these we know he performs well on the ground and over distance.
