Good Afternoon all, what a fun weekend that was, I hope you are having a good Bank Holiday.

Easy enough again in the 1000 Guineas, where we backed a decent price winner, Mother Earth at 11/1 and Fev Rover placing at 18s, by my estimate a weekend which paid around 80 points profit with winners at 12/1 and 6/1 yesterday on top of a big Saturday.

I will do a full update of the P&L ahead of Chester this week.

I know we have a few more eyeballs on the blog then normal, hence here are a few of the basics:

  1. This is mainly for my own purposes, I have no plans to charge and/or get “tips” to you by a certain time etc – however I will always welcome a beer or two via paypal if you have had a good day etc.
  2. We will mainly focus on the better racing Class 3 and above, but in the week we will look below that level if it suits.
  3. At the moment the site is basic as you can see, it works however.
  4. Please feel free to share with friends and family and also take it easy, I make no guarantees but hope to do well as I back them all.

15:06 – Alpine Mistral looked of interest when last seen over at Nottingham in October performing well on Soft and on improving ground, drawn from stall 1 and hopefully ridden a tad more prominently than normal by Josephine Gordon, I would hope despite market confidence (currently bottom of the market at 15/2) for a big run. River Dawn is a huge danger at the weights, if can convert recent All-Weather form to the surface.

14:11- Michael’s Choice carried 10 pounds higher when successful at the track in October he is well drawn from 5 – 11/4 2.5PT ew

15:21 – Strawberry Jack performs well off this mark, scoring at Windsor in April, the favourite is well fancied but may just give us a few more ticks than usual on our selection due to market confidence, the draw is not ideal but the pace shown to date should be enough to ensure he is not in trouble.
