A busy day personally and racing wise on Sunday, made slightly frustrating by the fact the selections did not upload to the blog, hence the results will be shared and added to the spreadsheet, fortunately after what seemed a barren-weekend we had two-winners at 7/1 and 18/1 to turn things around somewhat.
Of interest yesterday, was the rumoured Barney Curley plot involving 3 horses, with the final horse being backed in from 40/1 to odds-on. The 3 timer paid 8000/1 at opening prices, before being heavily backed in, whilst it did not land as a win, it still paid circa 1500/1 at opening prices each-way. Not bad if you were on it or in the know.
Let us hope the two-winners at the end yesterday turn our fortunes round this week after a relatively grim week or so with racing cancelled and selections not running to form.
Sadly, as the Beast from the East two closes in, otherwise known historically as winter or snow, Plumpton and Carlisle are both off today.
This leaves us with Wolverhampton on the All-Weather, with nothing of note in the Newcastle all bumper NHF card.
Wolverhampton
18:30 – Nothing of interest.
We will review our performance to date later in the week in particular if racing continues to be cancelled.
