A disappointing Saturday, ends January on a note the rest of the month did not merit, on reflection, perhaps I over-staked due to their only being one major Jump meeting but it was difficult to see nothing stick out of 9 bets on Saturday, with only one providing any return, an each-way second.
However, we end up in profit for the month, with 13 points, disappointing to leak 30 points or so in a week but plenty of time to reflect and pick ourselves back up as a positive month overall.

Turning to racing today, with Sedgfield cancelled last minute (weather again), we are left with one race, Class 3 or above over at Wolverhampton on the Tapeta.
19:10 – All eyes on this hot-looking fillies handicap, in particular IM AVAILABLE trained by Stuart Williams who has been incredibly consistent throughout 2020, setting figures that would trouble all of these in her first performance of 2021 over at Kempton, up in class today but carrying a weight she has won with before, at 4/1 she is the stand-out selection on price.
The draw coming from stall 4 should not be a concern for this hold-up type, who we are hoping can come round the bend and be in contention picking up the pace at the line to get ahead of the front-running par of Red Poppy and Lottie Marie (I would expect the latter to go off favourite currently 3/1).
