I am afraid it is that time of year where the ground hardens, the cold bites and trainers/owners rightly become frustrated with the seasonal change in the air and meetings are cancelled.
Ffos las had two races today above Class 3 and above but sadly has been cancelled moments ago.
Yesterday, nothing really went right for us, in the 18:15 at Kempton, the favourite was beaten (at least my expectation he would contract was right 7/4 into 5/4) however our horses Who Dares Wins and Stargazer drifted out to 20/1 and 40/1 respectively and ran as such. In the 18:45 Aberama Gold who we did not like as fave drifted from 85/40 to 3/1, sadly neither Steamline, who was nibbled slightly into 13/2 or Brian the Snail (11/1 at the off) could make the frame, with the latter losing two places at the death in what looked like a placed effort with less than half a furlong to go.
Never mind.

Total P&L: 5.4 points profit
As we move towards the weekend, hopefully the weather and the action improves with Chepstow looking particularly well ahead of the rescheduled Welsh National, although is subject to a precautionary inspection tomorrow at 14:30.
